Welcome to Willowbrook Stables

The planning, design and construction of Willowbrook Stables (WBS) took place in 2000 and 2001, with the first horses arriving in May, 2001. Since Willowbrook Creek runs through the property, Willowbrook Stables was chosen for the name. From its inception, WBS was developed with the goal of creating a premier facility to provide the ultimate environment for horses and riders, not only in the quality of our footing, bedding and feed, but in all aspects necessary to promote a training facility that could be a source of strength and support to both top trainers and riders.
During the past ten years of operating WBS, it has been our focus to maintain and improve our facility to meet the highest standards in the industry.
Our two arenas consist of: a 92 feet by 208 feet covered arena for year round riding with a footing that includes rubberized additives; and a 150 feet by 215 feet outdoor arena with a footing using a custom blended quartz/silica sand to International specifications and 100% synthetic GeoPad additives, and a sub-surface gravel/perforated drain pipe drainage system that allows for riding immediately following heavy periods of rain. This footing is similar to that used for the 2008 Hong Kong Olympic riding arenas.
In addition, we have a 5-horse, 60-feet diameter, roof covered EuroXciser with a programmable controller; a 60-feet round pen; 20 large turnouts for horses (12 with all-weather footing); a large pasture for horse turnouts; two enclosed horse barns with 24 horse stalls each (32 of these have attached outdoor paddocks); and one 20-horse roof covered horse barn with attached outdoor paddocks, and approximately 15 acres of riding trails.
